Plans and billing
The Free, Starter, Business, and Pro plans, what each unlocks, free usage credits and extra usage, and how to upgrade or manage billing.
Plans
Binary has four plans. The paid ones are billable monthly or yearly.
- Free - unlimited forms, candidates, and team; public page; AI review and auto-review; the Chrome extension; the Slack assistant; up to 5 interviews and 100 assignments a month; $1 of free usage credits a month.
- Starter - $10 of free usage credits a month, up to 1,000 assignments a month, and extra usage. Interview scheduling isn't part of Starter.
- Business - $25 of free usage credits a month plus workspace analytics, unlimited interview scheduling and assignments, referrals, LinkedIn job posts, and priority support.
- Pro - everything in Business with $100 of free usage credits a month.
The exact prices are shown on the Plans page - check there rather than relying on a fixed number.
Free usage credits and extra usage
Emails, AI review, LinkedIn lookups, and AI assistant messages draw from your workspace's usage, in US dollars. Every plan includes free usage credits each month, shared by the whole workspace. They reset monthly and unused credits don't roll over. Paid plans can buy extra usage on top - $10 to $300 a month, recurring. For costs per action and how far a dollar goes, see Usage and credits.
Assignment limits
Each plan caps how many assignments the workspace can send per month: 100 on Free, 1,000 on Starter, and unlimited on Business and Pro. A bulk send checks the whole batch against the cap before anything goes out. Re-sending to a candidate who already has a pending link doesn't count again. The count resets monthly, along with your usage.
Upgrade & manage billing
- Go to Settings → Billing & Usage, or open the Plans page.
- Click Upgrade and choose a plan and billing cycle. You can buy extra usage in the same checkout. Checkout is handled by Stripe.
- To change payment details, view invoices, or cancel, use Manage (the Stripe customer portal). Extra usage is changed from Billing & Usage, not from Manage.
Notes & limits
- Admins manage the plan and billing.
- The plan applies to the whole workspace; each workspace has its own plan.
- Cancelling keeps your plan and extra usage until the end of the period you've paid for. If a payment fails and the subscription lapses, the workspace moves to Free straight away.
